Local 4-H Club Volunteering at the Library

Thank you to the S.H.A.F.F. 4-H Club for helping out at the library this summer!  They are helping us with Summer Reading and also spent an evening working outside weeding, pruning, and mulching.  They sure did a fantastic job making our landscaping look great for the summer!

LEGO club is the first Wednesday of each month.

It will be from 3:30-4:30 pm in the library meeting room.

 The next LEGO Club will be August 6th.

Bring your own LEGOs and build with friends. 

The library does have some LEGOs for you to build with if you do not have your own.

Everyone who attends will be entered into a drawing for a small LEGO prize.

People of all ages are welcome!

The Library is always accepting donations of either new or used LEGOs.

LEGO Club is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Spring Plant Sale

Marigolds-Field-2010594Thank you to everyone who volunteered or purchased plants at this year’s Friends of the Library Plant Sale.  It was a huge success.  It brought in over $800. for the Friends organization.  These fundraisers support the Friends in it’s effort in keeping the library effective in serving it’s patrons.

 The Friends of the Library Annual Spring Tea was a huge success this year!  There was over $7,000 raised this year.  A huge Thank you to all who attended or donated items to this year’s event!

Congratulations to Lindy Manguso. She was crowned Miss Sweet 16 during Wellsville Days!  Lindy is the daughter of Bart Manguso & Kris Allred.  Miss Manguso was escorted by Mr. Trevor Heckman, the son of LeeAnn Heckman & Charlie Heckman.
