STORYTIME

Storytime begins for the year on Wednesday August 26th.  It’s a free service and will be held every Wednesday at 10:00am when school is in session.  It’s never too early to bring your little one in for a fun hour of stories, games, songs, crafts, and treats.  If you have any questions about Storytime, feel free to contact Becky or Robin at the library.  We look forward to an exciting year!

Wellsville Days Quilt Drawing

IMG_20150623_114837The Friends of the Library will once again be having a Quilt Drawing at this year’s Wellsville Days!  The quilt is currently on display at the library.  It was made and donated by Evelyn Brecheisen.  It is hand embroidered and machine quilted.  It measures 84 x84 inches.  It also comes with 2 matching pillows and a pillow cover/sham.  Tickets for the quilt may be purchased at the library up until Saturday, September 26th.  The Friends will also be selling tickets downtown during Wellsville Days.  They are $1.00 a piece or 6 for $5.00.  All proceeds for the drawing go to the Friends of the Library’s future projects.

Middle School Summer Reading Program

Teen Poster

We will be having a Middle School Summer Reading Program this year.

It is for 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders of the 2014-2015 school year.

It will kick off with a dance on Tuesday, May 19th from 6-8 pm in the library meeting room.

Entry donation for the dance is to bring an item that will be boxed up and sent to military overseas.
