We’re pleased to share with you a brand new children’s library experience! It’s called “Hoopla for Kids”. It’s the place where parents and kids, alike, will be able to discover all the great hoopla kids’ content, with one swipe.
Every title in each format-Video(movies & TV shows), Music, and Books (audiobooks, eBooks, and comics)—has been selected and brought together in one place to give kids a single environment where their young minds can explore and discover their world, and maybe themselves, through digital media.
The first step toward discovery: KIDS MODE
Kids Mode is a discovery tool to find family-appropriate content.
Visit your “Settings” & flip the toggle to put hoopla into Kids Mode on your device.
This only affects the device and not your account.
Our hope is that hoopla Kids Mode will become a hoopla happy place for everybody!
Kids will be happy because they can easily find, follow, and enjoy their favorite characters, stories, and songs!
Parents will be happy because they can feel confident letting kids explore and discover on their own!
The Wellsville City Library building fund has been steadily “building”. The library, combined with help from the Friends of the Library, has almost $230,000.00. The building goal has been an estimated $509,000.00.
The library has never used tax funds to purchase a building. It has always been done solely through donations. We would like to build the proposed addition with 100% donations, however if that is not possible, we would like to start looking at grants to help us reach our goal.
The population of Wellsville in 2010 was 1857. There is about $279,000.00 left to raise. If you divide $279,000.00 by the population that is an $150.24 per person.
Sometimes we are so close and yet so far…..
This seems like a goal that can be reached in the not so distant future if we all work together!
Storytime is a free service that is held every Wednesday at 10:00am when school is in session. It’s never too early to bring your little one in for a fun hour of stories, games, songs, crafts, and treats. If you have any questions about Storytime, feel free to contact Becky or Robin at the library.
